Tibetan Materia Medica
The following is the primary Materia Medica used in Tibetan Medicine. As noted elsewhere, exact identity of some Tibetan herbs is confusing, partly because various plant sources are given for the same Tibetan medicine by different authors. In some cases they are accepted substitutes, or plants used in new places where the Tibetan population moved to.
