Preparation:
Myrrh and Bdellium are dissolved in a little wine, the the rest is added and made into a fine powder. It can be prepared as an Electuary with 3 times its weight of Honey.

Function:
Opens Obstructions, moves the Blood, resolves Swelling and Hardness, promotes Urine

Use:
1. Edema2. Ascites
3. helps with Gravel and Stones
4. Swelling, hardness, tumors of the Liver, Bladder, Kidneys or Abdominal organs
5. Jaundice
6. Cachexia
7. Amenorrhea
8. Dysmenorrhea
9. Gynecological disease associated with Blood stagnation


Dose:
1⁄2 dram; 1 dram in strong bodies, taken with wine; 2 drams of the Electuary.

Cautions:
1. Not used during pregnancy.
2. This is a medium-strength formula and may not be suitable for long-term use or in full doses in some people.

1. Zwelfer in his commentary on the Pharmacopoeia Augustana said it is good for obstruction, inflammation and hardness of the Liver, fluid under the skin, to promote Menstruation, dissolve Scirrhus [Fibroid] Tumors, resolve hardness of the Kidney and Bladder, dispel Cachexia, and for Stones.
