Clears Heat, Resists Poison, Benefits the Liver
Use:

"it will help with old Liver diseases that cannot be treated with other drugs"
Liver disorders with drowsiness, dryness of mouth, stomach pain, poor appetite, red eyes, lethargy, bitter taste in the mouth
1. Liver pain caused by Liver heat
2. Hepatitis (acute and chronic)
3. Cirrhosis
4. Liver Cancer
5. gradual wasting or weakness of the body
6. Feeling of fullness or pressure in the upper body
7. difficulty in flexing and straightening the neck
8. Headache (associated with the Liver)
9. Alcoholic Liver diseae
10. Liver toxicity due to diet
11. Poison
Dose:
1 pill daily
Cautions:
1. While taking this medicine it is best to avoid Sour foods and beverages, pungent food and drinks, sour or salty food, meat, egg, raw Vegetables and Fruits, Garlic, Onion, Rancid Foods; Avoid Sex and Strenuous activities.
2. If the genuine pill is taken, it should not be taken daily for more than 2–3 weeks due to the Vermillion and Birthwort.
Modifications:
1. If this is recreated in the West, Vermillion and Birthwort need to be omitted or substituted.
2. The version in the Amdo Compendium omits Chebulic Myrobalan, Nutmeg and Saffron, but adds Lesser. Cardamon (Sug smel) (100 grams), Geranium (Li ga dur) (30 grams), Gentian urnula (Gang ga chung) (30 grams), Drynaria propinqua (Be ljang re ral) (30 grams), Bear [Cow] Bile (Dom mhkris) (100 grams), Prepared Mercury Sulphide (Btso thal) (300 grams), Bdud rtsi chos sman a type of (Sacred Medicine, said to be a fermented product made from 8 basic herbs) (300 grams)
