Function:
Clears Heat, Regulates Menstruation, Stops Leakage and Bleeding
Use:
Mostly used for Bleeding disorders of women.
1. Excessive Menstrual Bleeding
2. Dysmenorrhea and Uterine Pain
3. Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding
4. Uterine Fiboids and Tumors
5. Ovarian Cysts
6. Endometiosis
7. Leukorrhea
8. Candida
9. Restless Fetus during Pregnancy
10. Bleeding during Pregnancy
11. Postpartum tonic
12. Regarded as a strenthening tonic for women
13. Hematuria
14. Hemorrhoids
Dose:
2–3 grams once or twice daily after meals with Rice rinse water.
It is taken during the period for heavy or prolonged menstrual bleeding.
Cautions:
Avoid in pregnancy
Modifications:
1. Uterine Fibroids and Endometriosis, take with Kanchanara Guggulu
2. Uterine Tumors with excess Heat, take with Kaisor Guggulu
3. Female Infertility, add Shatavari and Withania
The name of this formula comes from the fact that the herbs were traditionally ordered to be harvested during the Pusya constellation in December and January.
