Preparation:
Powder and form Pills.
Function:
Clears Liver heat
Use:
Liver heat with yellowing of the eyes, headache, loss of appetite, pain or distention over the Liver
"Especially helps with acute and chronic Liver disease"
1. Acute Liver disease
2. Chronic Liver disease
3. Hepatitis
4. Pain or Inflammation over the Liver area
5. Pain in Liver region from Trauma
6. Headache related to Liver heat
7. Eye diseases related to Liver Heat
8. Increase in "Bad Blood"
Dose:
2–3 grams, noon and night with warm water.
Cautions:
None noted
Modifications:
A suitable substitute for Birthwort should be used. Costus or Corydalis Yan Hu Suo are possible substitute. See Birthwort for others.
