* Madder juice has been ordered in some texts which is used in sufficient quantity to form pills

Preparation:
Nux Vomica must be prepared according to Traditional methods. Generally, it is soaked in water, then peeled, then cut into small pieces and stir-fried with Sesame oil. There are various other methods that may be used; see Nux Vomica.
Powder and form pills either with the juice of Madder, or with sufficient Honey to form pills.

Function:
Regulates Qi, Stops Wind, Moves Blood, Eases Pain

Use:
1. Hypertension
2. Chest or Thoracic pain or tightness;
3. pain in the Upper back from Wind
4. Severe stabbing pain in the head or upper body
5. Arthritis of the Upper Body
6. Di
fficulty Breathing, Shortness of Breath
7. Dizziness
8. Vertigo
9. Tinnitus
10. Red eyes
11. Swelling of the gums
12. Nosebleed
13. Accumulation of ‘Bad Blood’ (Blood stagnation) in the Lower Body


Dose:
500mg–1.5 grams (begin with lower dose) morning and evening with warm water.

Cautions:
1. Not used during Pregnancy
2. Avoid overdose
