Preparation:
Boil all (except the Dodder) in sufficient water, decoct them together well, adding the Dodder towards the end.
Function:
Purges Melancholy and Burnt Bile, also Phlegm
Use:
1. Melancholy
2. Dementia
3. Tumors
4. Adjunct in Cancer treatment
5. Chronic and obstinate skin diseases
Dose:
2–4, or 6 oz.

None noted
Modifications:
1. Some versions added Thyme, Borage, Bugloss, Dates, Figs etc.
