Preparation:
Prepare a standard decoction of the herbs, adding the Mirabilite to the strained decoction..
Function:
Purges Heat, Resolves Blood Stasis
Use:
Acute lower abdominal pain, irritability, restlessness, thirst, with a deep, full or choppy pulse.

3. Pelvic Inflammatory Disease
4. Uterine Bleeding
5. Uterine Fibroids
6. Ectopic Pregnancy
7. Retained Placenta
8. Prostatitis
9. Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy
10. Colon Cancer
11. Hepatitis
12. Hemorrhoids
13. Schizophrenia
14. Bi-polar disorder
Dose:
The above decoction is divided into 3 equal doses to be taken over the course of a day.
Cautions:
1. Not used during Pregnancy
2. Not used in acute conditions (Cold, Flu). Treat these first.
Modifications:
1. Dysmenorrhea or Endometriosis, add Dang Gui, Safflower (Hong Hua)
2. With Qi Stagnation, add Cyperus Xiang Fu, Costus Mu Xiang, Citrus Qing Pi
3. With Blood Deficiency, add Paeonia (Bai Shao), Dang Gui
4. With Heat, add Coptis Huang Lian, Scutellaria Huang Qin.
5. Trauma, add Notoginseng San Qi.
6. Pain from Trauma, add Dang Gui Wei (Dang Gui rootlets), Paeonia Chi Shao Yao, Safflower (Hong Hua)
7. Renal Failure, add Aconitum Fu Zi, Astragalus Huang Qi, Motherwort (Yi Mu Cao), Alisma Ze Xie.
8. Hemorrhoids, add Dried Orange fruit (Zhi Ke), Sophora flower (Huai Hua Mi).
