Preparation:
Powder

Function:
Clears Heat, clears the Lungs, stops Cough and Wheezing

Use:
"especially this medicine is a general medicine for Lung diseases"
1. Cough
2. Asthma
3. Weakness of the Lungs

4. Swelling of the ankles and eyelids
5. Loss of appetite
6. Edema
7. Fatigue and weakness


Dose:
2–3 grams with hot water.

Cautions:
None noted

Modifications:
1. Mixed with 4 times the amount of Sugar, it balances Heat and Cold of the Lungs and promotes appetite.
2. Chronic Lung diseases, add Raisins and Licorice.
3. Chronic Fever, add White Sandalwood and Bezoar

Similar Formulas:
1. Compare with Raisin 7
2. When Cinnamon replaces Licorice and Srad dkar (Oxytropis oxyphylla) is added, it makes Tabasheer 8. Used for fluid in the Lungs with decreased urine output and swelling of the ankles.
3. When Licorice and Raisins is added, it forms Tabasheer 9. This is better to strengthen the Lungs and is used for chronic Lung diseases..
