Preparation:
Boil in 4 lbs. of Water until one quarter has been consumed; to the strained liquor add 11⁄2 lbs. of Red Rose Water, and with 4 lbs. of Sugar, form a Syrup according to Art.
Function:
Clears Heat, calms the Mind, eases Pain, benefits the Yin
Use:
1. Fever
2. Hectic Fever
3. Heat associated with Yin deficiency
4. Heat-type Pain of the Liver, Spleen, Bladder, Kidney or Uterus
5. Inflammation of the Liver, Spleen, Bladder, Kidney or Uterus
6. Promotes rest in Fever and Heat disease
7. Kidney heat, hot and sharp Urine
8. Quenches Lust
9. Threatened Miscarriage from Heat
Dose:
1–2 oz., up to 3 oz.
