* Aur is a traditional weight being that of a Gold coin. Over time, it was reduced from over 8 grams to around 6 grams. The weights may be adjusted for modern use.
Preparation:
Dissolve the gums in clarified Fennel juice, or a strong decoction of the same, strain, add the rest in powder and with Honey form an Electuary.
Function:
Clears Cold, Wind and Phlegm, Eases Pain
Use:
1. Wind-Cold-Damp Pains
2.. Joint pain
3. Arthritis
4. Sciatica
Dose:
2–3 drams
