Preparation:
Decoct the shells for 30–45 minutes before adding the herbs. After straining, dissolve in the Gelatin and stir in the Egg Yolks.
Function:
Nourishes Yin and Blood, Settles Wind
Use:
Deep red tongue without coating, thin and rapid pulse.
1. Vertigo
2. Dizziiness
3. Tinnitus
4. Parkinson's Disease
5. Cerebral Embolism
5. Sequelae of Encephalitis or Merningitis.
Dose:
The above is taken over the course of the day in three equal doses.
Cautions:
None noted
Modifications:
1. Qi deficiency, add Ginseng
2. Parkinson's Disease, replace Rehmannia Sheng Di Huang with Rehmannia Shu Di Huang, and add Ophiopogon Mai Men Dong.
3. Spasms and Shaking add Gastrodia Tian ma.
