Preparation:
Prepare as a decoction.
Function:
Clears Exterior Wind-Cold, clears Interior Heat
Use:
Exterior Wind-Cold with Interior Heat; Chills and Fever, no sweating, body aches; thin tongue coating with superficial pulse
1. Common Cold or Influenza
2. Bronchitis, Asthma
3. Allergic Rhinitis (Hayfever)
4. Arthritis
5. Urticaria
6. Acute Fever
7. Measles
8. Pneumonia
9. Meningitis
10. Acute Nephritis
Dose:
the above is taken over the course of a day
Cautions:
1. Not used for marked Weakness or Spontaneous Sweating
2. Avoid long-term use or large doses
