Preparation:
Decoct the shells, then add the herbs and decoct together. Strain, dissolve in the gelatin, then blend the egg yolks in an take warm. Also used in pill form.
Function:
Nourishes Yin, Stops Wind
Use:
Marked deficiency with convulsions or tremors, crimson red tongue, dry coating with a very weak pulse.

4. Post-stroke Paralysis or Insomnia
5. Chorea
6. Tremors
7. Parkinson's Disease
8. Hyperthyroidism
9. Advanced cases of Encephalitis or Meningitis
Dose:
the above can be taken over the course of a day
Cautions:
1. Not used in Heat-type disease
Modifications:
1. If there is Phlegm obstruction with Yin deficiency, ad Tabasheer
2. Marked Weakness or Dyspnoea, add Ginseng
