Prepared as pills, the size of a pea
Function:
Harmonise Qi and Blood, stops Cough, calm the Nerves and Spirit
Use:
1. Pain over the whole body caused by Wind
2. Cough with expectoration of frothy phlegm
3. Stabbing chest Pain due to Qi and Blood stagnation
4. Chest tightness from Wind and Blood
5. Dry Cough
6. Shortness of Breath
7. Wind in the Lungs with frothy sputum, shortness of Breath
8. Insomnia
9. Hypertension
Dose:
3 pills, three times daily
Cautions:
1. Use is avoided in Kidney disease
Modifications:
1. Paegaeophyton is considered a variety of Rhodiola in Tibetan Medicine, and are both used similarly. Therefore, Rhodiola may be used in place of Paegaeophyton.
