Preparation:
Prepare a standard decoction, preferably from the fresh herbs, then add Honey to form a syrup. Traditionally, the juice was extracted from the fresh leaves which was boiled with sugar or honey to form a syrup.
Function:
Clears Heat, stops Bleeding
Use:
1. Specific for Bleeding from the Lungs
2. Also Bleeding from the Stomach or Bowels coming from Heat
3. May be useful as an adjunct for Lung Cancer
Dose:
3 small cupfuls daily
Cautions:
None noted
Modifications:
It should be realised that Bleeding from the Lungs may be associated with Infection, Lung Cancer or Tuberculosis.
