Preparation:
Powder and form Pills.
Function:
Clears Liver Heat, Clears Damp-Heat (Bile)
Use:
Bitter taste in the mouth, headache, red eyes, yellowing of the eyes, skin and urine, body feels hot to touch, thirst, yellow tongue coat, big or fast pulse
1. Liver Heat
2. Fever
3. Inflammation (from Liver heat)
4. Headache from Fever or Liver heat
5. Eyes affected by Liver heat
6. Jaundice
7. Promotes appetite (when affected from Heat or Damp-Heat)
8. Increase Liver function (when affected by Heat).
Dose:
2–3 grams twice daily
Cautions:
Not used in Cold or Phlegm diseases
