* Two different types of Iris root are ordered. It is assumed the first is Wild and the second cultivated. In any case, Orris root could be used for both.
Preparation:
Powder the herbs, beat the Nuts small and mix with three times their weight of Honey of Squill to form an Electuary.
Function:
Clears Cold Phlegm, Stops Cough and Wheezing
Use:
1. Cough with Cold and thick Phlegm
2. Chronic Cough
3. Asthma
4. Wheezing
5. Difficult Breathing
Dose:
As much as a Walnut twice daily.
Cautions:
Not used for Hot-type Cough and Asthma.
