Preparation:
Dissolve the Sugar in an appropriate water (Rose, Balm, Betony etc.) over a gentle heat, add the rest in powder, and form little cakes
Function:
Clears Wind and Heat, calms the Mind and Nerves, stops Spasms
Use:
1. Epilepsy
2. Childhood Convulsions
Dose:
1⁄2–1 dram

None noted
Modifications:
Peony root can be used in place of Peony seed
This is a variation of Manus Christi, made with Sugar dissolved in Rose water to which Pearl is added, and little cakes or troches are formed.
