1. Cool the Lungs, Stops Cough:

2. Clears Heat and Damp:
-diarrhea, dysentery
-burning urine, gonorrhea
-also for Heat of the Blood and Yin-deficient Heat
3. Strengthens Qi, Benefits Yin:
-sexual debility, general debility
-nourishes Semen
-widely used as a corrective of harsh and irritant medicines
