-Clears Heat, Benefits Yin:
-clears Heat of the Blood and Choler (Bile).
-used in Yin tonic formulas
2. Clears Heat and Damp, Promotes Urine:
-Diuretic, opening, allays sharpness, cleanses the Kidneys and Bladder
-hot, sharp and burning Urine
Main Combinations:
1. Used with the other Cold Seeds: Cucumber, Melon and Pumpkin (or sometimes Gourd)
