Fennel root	Foeniculum vulgare
Celery root	Apium graveolens	10 drams ea.
Sweet Almonds	Prunus amygdalus dulcis
Pine nut	Nux Pinea
Fenugreek	Trigonella foenum-graecum
Fennel seed	Foeniculum vulgare	5 drams ea.
Mastic	Pistacia lentiscus
Cinnamon	Cinnamonum zeylanicum
Ginger	Zingiber officinalis	2 drams ea.
Raisins	Vitis vinifera	100 drams
Jujube	Ziziphus jujuba
Sebesten	Cordia spp	100 of each

Preparation:

Steep in 23 lbs of water overnight, then decoct to 10 lbs. Then add 2 lbs each of Sugar Penids, Honey and Rob and form a Syrup, hanging in it 1 dram of Saffron hung in cloth.

Function:

Clears Cold Phlegm, settles Wind, stops Cough and Wheezing

Use:

1. Cold Phlegm type Cough
2. Bronchitis
3. Asthma
4. Shortness of Breath
5. Especially for old people with Cold-Phlegm Cough

Dose:

1–2 oz.
