Powder and form Pills. Also used in Powder form.
Function:
Clears Wind-Heat, Stops Cough
Use:
“Cough so strong the patient faints”
1. Acute Heat-type Cough
2. Cough from Cold or Flu with profuse sputum
3. Especially for residual Cough after Cold or Influenza
4. Sore Throat with Heat and dryness
5. Asthmatic Cough
6. Hot feeling in the chest
Dose:
2–3 grams with Hot water
Cautions:
None noted
Modifications:
1. Persistent Cough from Heat, add White and Red Sandalwood.
