Preparation:

Form a Powder

Function:

Warms the Stomach, Clears Damp, Regulates Qi and guides Downwards

Use:

For Wind-Phlegm symptoms, indigestion, poor appetite, bloating, flatulence, burping, abdominal distention etc.
1. Indigestion
2. Anorexia
3. Heartburn, Acid Regurgitation, GERD
4. Abdominal distension
5. Diarrhea (Wind-Phlegm)
6. Peptic Ulcers
7. Abdominal masses
8. Hemorrhoids
9. Malabsorption
10. Rheumatism (adjunct)

Dose:

3–6 grams, or ½–1 teaspoon, with warm water or buttermilk after meals

Cautions:

1. Caution with large doses or long-term use due to the high sodium content. This is especially important in Hypertension and Kidney disease.
2. Not for Pitta (Heat / Bile) type acid regurgitation and heartburn.
3. Not suitable for acute inflammatory flare-ups of peptic ulcer, gastritis, or severe ulcerative colitis.
4. Use in moderation during Pregnancy.
