Ginger	Zingiber officinalis	1 dram
Raisins, stoned	Vitis vinifera	2 oz.
Sebestens	Cordia spp
Prunes	Prunus domestica	12 each
Borage fl owers	Borago officinalis
Violets fl owers	Viola odorata
Rose fl owers	Rosa gallica
Rosemary flowers	Rosmarinus officinalis	2 drams ea.

Preparation:

Boil in 4 lbs. of Water until half is gone, adding the Senna towards the end.

Purges Melancholy

Use:

Melancholy diseases of the Head

Dose:

2–4 oz.
