Aniseed	Pimpinella anisum
Hyssop	Hyssopus officinale
Mallow seed	Malva sylvestris	5 drams ea.
Raisins	Vitis vinifera
Jujube	Ziziphus jujuba	20 drams ea.
Fig	Ficus carica	6

* NOTE: an Aureos is the weight of a Gold coin. It was originally 8.18 grams, but successive Emperors reduced the weight down to about 6 grams, approximately 1 1⁄2 drams.

Preparation:

Decoct in 7 lbs to the third part; give with honey or penids

Function:

Clears Cold Phlegm, stops Cough and Wheezing

Use:

1. Asthma from cold, thick Phlegm
2. Asthma Wheezing or Cough with deficiency

Dose:

a small cupful twice daily.
