Function:
Harmonise Qi and Blood, stops Cough, calm the Nerves and Spirit
Use:
Wind affecting the Heart, Lungs and upper torso

1. Pain over the whole body caused by Wind
2. Cough with expectoration of frothy phlegm
3. Stabbing chest and upper back Pain due to Qi and Blood stagnation
4. “acts as Nectar for Chest tightness caused by Wind and Blood” (Buryat Tibetan Medicine)
5. Dry Cough
6. Bronchial Asthma
7. Shortness of Breath
8. Wind in the Lungs with frothy sputum, shortness of Breath
9. Insomnia
10. Hypertension
11. Severe headache due to Hypertensive crisis.
12. Thyroid Toxicosis associated with Heat and “Bad Blood”
Dose:
3 pills, three times daily
Cautions:
1. Use is avoided in Kidney disease
Modifications:
1. Paegaeophyton is considered a variety of Rhodiola in Tibetan Medicine, and are both used similarly. Therefore, Rhodiola may be used in place of Paegaeophyton.
