Preparation:
Powder and form Troches with Chicory juice.
Function:
Moves the Qi, Opens Obstructions, regulates Liver and Spleen
Use:
1. Stomach pain
2. Liver obstructions
3. Hypochondriac pain
4. Cachexia
5. Fever
Dose:
1⁄2–1 dram
Cautions:
None noted
Modifications:
1. With Troches of Rhubarb for Chronic Fever.
2. Pills of Diarrhodon:
Troches Diarrhoon
Wormwood 5 drams
Squinanth
Mastic 2 drams
Indian Salt 1 dram
Aloes weight of the rest
Form pills with Water, Decoction or Juice of Citron.
