Preparation:
Powder and form Pills by mixing with molasses.
Function:
Strengthens Kidneys, Clears Heat and Damp, Promotes Urine
Use:
“This medicine is especially good at defeating Bladder diseases and swelling of the Testicles” (Men Tsee Kang)
“A compound which treats diseases associated with Urinary Bladder, pain in the Pelvic region, Kidneys and swelling of Testicles” (Drungtso)
1. Kidney Fever
2. Pain and Heat of the Kidneys and Bladder
3. Pain and Heat of the Lower Abdomen and Pelvis
4. Swelling of the Knees and Ankles
5. Swelling of the Testicles (from Heat and Cold)
6. Burning Urine

Modifications:
The Buryat version replaces Herpetospermum with Ginger. Herpetospermum and Adhatoda are the two main medicines to clear Heat. Therefore, Herpetospermum is better when there is heat conditions, Ginger can be used if there is a Cold-Damp presentation.
