Katuki (Picrorhiza) 

Picrorhiza kurroa

Sunthi (Ginger)

Zingiber officinale

Citraka (Plumbago)

Plumbago zeylanica

equal parts

Preparation:

Powder finely

Function:

Clears Heat and Damp, Promotes Urine

Use:

1. Painful micturition
2. Edema
3. Anasarca
4. early stages of Ascites
5. Swelling in the lower limbs
6. Systemic Fluid Retention
7. skin conditions (such as Eczema) with Weeping
8. Chronic Joint disease with fluid swelling

Dose:

2–3 grams, twice daily.

Cautions:

1. Not used in Yin deficiency or dehydration
2. Not used while taking diuretic medication
