Infusion of Senna and Flower with Spices

Oregano	Oreganum vulgare
Pennyroyal	Mentha pulegium	1⁄2 dram ea.
Borage fl ower	Borago officinalis
Bugloss fl ower	Anchusa officinalis
Violet fl ower	Viola odorata
Rose fl ower	Rosa gallica	2 drams ea.
Ginger	Zingiber officinalis
Cinnamon	Cinnamonum zeylanicum	1 scruple ea.
Aniseed	Pimpinella anisum	1⁄2 scruple

Preparation:

Infuse in 6 ounces of Borage water for 10 hours, express and sweeten; then add 1 dram of Black Myrobalan

Function:

Prepares, cleanses and purges Melancholy, opens Obstruction

Use:

Melancholy diseases

Dose:

the above can be divided into 2 or 4 doses
