Preparation:

1. Place the 1000 Chebula fruits, 3000 Emblic fruits, and the coarse herbs from Dasamula down through Ikshu (all the 1 part each herbs) into a large boiler with ample water.
2. Cook until the fruits soften completely, then strain. Extract the seeds from the soft fruits and press the remaining pulp through a fine sieve to form a smooth paste.
3. Fry this fruit pulp paste thoroughly in the mixed Cow Ghee and Tila Taila until it loses its moisture content and releases oil.
4. Dissolve the Sitopala (Rock Sugar) into the strained liquid decoction and clarify the syrup.
5. Combine the fried fruit paste with the sugar syrup and simmer over a low fire until the mixture turns thick and sticky.
6. Finely powder the herbs from Tvak through Vidanga and stir them uniformly into the hot mass.
7. Once the mixture cools completely to room temperature, pour in the Makshika and stir vigorously until a uniform, glossy electuary is achieved
