* There are a number of herbs supplying Zhim thig: Salvia spp., Nepeta coerusens, Stachys spp., Rabdosia spp., Phlomis spp., Euphrasia spp. and others. Most of this group are used for Eye disorders. As several of the varieties of Zhim thig are Salvia species, Sage may be an acceptable substitute.
** This is a variety of Mkhan pa, Artemisia species, meaning Mugwort may be a suitable substitute. Some sources have given Tanacetum species, meaning Tansy may also be a suitable substitute.

Powder and form pills with Honey.
Function:
Moves the Blood, Clears Heat, Strengthens the Kidneys, Regulates Menstruation
Use:

2. Irregular Menstruation
3. Retained Placenta
4. Postpartum Fever
5. Postpartum Debility
Dose:
2 grams twice daily with water

Modifications:
1. Retained Placenta, take with a decoction of Lancea tibetica
