Preparation:
Powder and form Honey pills.
Function:
Tonifies the Kidneys, Warms the Yang, Nourishes Essence
Use:
Fatigue, Weakness, pain and weakness of the lower back and knees, pale complexion, pale tongue with a deep, weak pulse.
1. Infertility in Men or Women
2. Impotence, Erectile Dysfunction
3. Low Sperm count, Low Sperm mobility
4. Hypothyroidism
5. Chronic Lower Back Pain
Dose:
Take 3–9 grams twice daily with warm water or wine.
Cautions:
Not used in Yin deficient Heat
Modifications:
1. For more severe deficiency, add Ginseng (Ren Shen) and Velvet Deer Horn (Lu Rong)
2. To more strongly treat Impotence, add Red Ginseng (Hong Shen), Ligusticum Chuan Xiong, Centipede (Wu Gong)
3. Infertility, add Dodder seed (Tu Si Zi), Schisandra Wu Wei Zi
