Tian Nan Xing (Arisaema)

Arisaema consanguineum

Tian Ma (Gastrodia)

Gastrodia elata

Bai Jiang Can (White Silkworm) *

Bombyx Batryticatus

6 grams ea.

Quan Xie (Scorpion)

Buthus martensii

3 grams

* Silkworm is dry fried

Preparation:

Powder.

Function:

Clears Wind-Phlegm, relieves Spasms

Use:

Specifically for Tetanus with spasm and locking of the jaw, with musclar spasms and twitches

Dose:

Decoct the above, add 60mls of Yellow Rice Wine and take as a dose, according to the source text it should be taken with Cinnabar 1500mg.

It should promote sweating of the palms, soles and sternum, if it doesn’t it is to be repeated for 3 days.

Cautions:

1. Not used during Pregnancy
