Calamus root	Acorus calamus	3 oz.
Marjoram	Oreganum marjorana	1 handful
Elder fl owers	Sambucus nigra	1⁄2 handful
Red Wine	Vinum rubrum	16 lbs.

Preparation:

Infuse the bruised herbs in the wine, then strain

Function:

Clears Phlegm, opens Obstructions

Use:

Catarrh

Dose:

Take a small wineglassful several times daily
