Chengdu TCM University

The following pictures were taken during a guided tour by the Director of the Teaching Hospital of Chengdu University of TCM in 2011. Students applying Heat lamps, Acupuncture and Moxibustion to a patient with Arthritis are shown in the first group. The second group shows the Dispensatory where herbal formulas are prepared ready to be either cooked in the hospital, or picked up by patients to be cooked at home. Several dozen people work constantly preparing herbal medicines for the patients at the Hospital.
