Alcohol (40–50%)

Aqua vitae

12 oz.

Preparation:

Steep to form a tincture, strain and keep

Function:

Clears Heat, Phlegm and Toxin, promotes Healing

Use:

Applied to Ulcers of the Mouth and Throat

Dose:

This is painted directly onto the Ulcer. It can be diluted (a spoonful at a time) with Plantain or Self Heal water etc. and gargled.

Cautions:

1. This is strong and may be irritating. The first time it is used a little should be tested to see if it needs diluting. It should be used very carefully in the young.
