Preparation:
Powder. Instead of the confections, the seeds can be used, adding sugar to taste.
Function:
Clears Cold and Phlegm, warms and strengthens the Stomach
Use:
1. poor Appetite
2. Indigestion
3. Stomach debility
4. Stomach Pain from Cold and Phlegm
5. also for Colic and abdominal Spasms from Wind.
Dose:
1⁄2–1 dram, with warm water or wine
