Preparation:
Grind teh herbs into powder, dissolved the gelatin in warm water, then mix to form pills.
Function:
Stabilizes the Kidneys, Calms the Fetus
Use:
Lower back pain, Vaginal bleeding during Pregnancy, weakness of the legs, frequent uirination, pale tongue with a white coating, deep and weak pulse.
1. Threatened Miscarriage
2. Habitual Miscarriage
3. Vaginal bleeding during pregnancy
Dose:
6 grams twice daily with warm water.
Cautions:
None noted
Modifications:
1. To strengthen the effect, add Eucommia Du Zhong (often added today)
2. Marked Qi deficiency, add Ginseng
3. with signs of Heat, add Scutellaria Huang Qin.
4. Discharge with blood, add Burnet (Di Yu)
5. Vaginal Bleeding during pregnancy, add charred Mugwort (Ai Ye)
6. Poor appetite, add stir-fried Atractylodes Bai Zhu.
7. Feeling Cold, add Psoralea Bu Gu Zi
8. Feverish, add Rehmannia Sheng Di Huang.
