Preparation:

All the stones must be thoroughly prepared by levigation or Bhasma (according to recipe) until they are impalpable. Some preferred the use of Pishti (levigation) while others versions used Bhasma. The softer stones (Amber, Coral and Pearl) are best prepared as Pishti, the harder stones (Emerald, Ruby) are best prepared as Bhasma.
Powder the herbs, add the prepared stones and gold and silver, mix well, and with a sufficient amount of Rose water to form a paste, make small pills. It can be kept as a powder by allowing the Rose water to dry and powdering the mixture.
