Benefits the Lungs, Clears Heat, Stops Cough and Wheezing

Use:

“This medicine helps with all eight Lung diseases”
1. Cough
2. Asthma
3. Breathlessness
4. Pneumonia

Dose:

A standard decoction is prepared and a small cupful is taken 3 times per day.

Cautions:

Not suited for use during Pregnancy.

Modifications:

1. Licorice would be a good addition (which is a component of Rhodiola 4 Decoction)

Comment:

This is better suited to more complex conditions than Rhodiola 4 Decoction. Due to the addition of Triphala, it is more suited to conditions which involve the Three Humors (Wine, Bile and Phlegm). In addition, the combination of Lacca and Madder make this suited to chronic Lung disease with a component of Blood Stasis.
