Preparation:
Powder, and with Sugar of Roses, equal to the rest, form a powder (actually a Confection).
Function:
Clears Heat, nourishes Yin
Use:
1. Restorative in chronic weakness and deficiency of Yin and Qi; useful in old Age.
2. A tonic in chronic Fever, Consumption, Wasting
Dose:
2 drams–1⁄2 oz. Up to 1 oz. daily.
