Use:

1. Asthma from Phlegm congestion
2. Phlegm congestion of the chest
3. Phlegm obstructing the Stomach
4. Phlegm disorders of the Brain and Nerves

Dose:

1⁄2–1 dram

Cautions:

Not used in Yin deficiency

Compare with Powder to Purge Phlegm (Unani), which is the same, but without Mastic.

This is a main medicine for treating Phlegm diseases.
