Purges Heat, Bile and Melancholy

Use:

1. used as a mild laxative for Heat, Bile and Melancholy
2. useful for Melancholy which affects the Head.

Dose:

1⁄2–1 dram

None noted

The Infusion of Senna and Flowers with Spices is a more compound version of this formula, also from Mesue.
