1 scruple each

Preparation:

Both stones should be finely levigated to a very fine powder, then mix together.

Function:

Clears Heat, stops Bleeding, calms the Mind and Nerves

Use:

1. Uterine Bleeding
2. Excessive Menstruation
3. Also to calm the Mind and Spirit in Irritability, Restlessness and Insomnia

Dose:

Take the above as a dose with Plantain water to stop Bleeding, or Rose water to calm the Mind and Spirit.

Cautions:

None noted

Modifications:

1. Various medicine can be combined to strengthen the effect including Pearl, Red Earth etc.

This combination is mentioned in numerous texts, and is often combined into larger formulas. It is not the invention of Gabelhover, but rather, that is a representative text.
