* Hedychium is used synonymously with Kaempferia galanga. In addition,. some sources have listed Ginger, which would be suitable substitute in this formula.
Preparation:
Powder and mix with Bu ram (Molasses) 70 grams, and form Pills
Function:
Regulates Qi, Guides Qi down, Warms the Stomach, benefits Digestion
Use:
“this medicine is especially good at enhancing the Fiery warmth of the stomach and helps with cold diarrhea”
1. Indigestion
2. Stomach pain caused by cold with indigestion after eating
3. Bloating
4. Belching
5. Vomiting
6. Bloating and distention in the lower abdomen
7. Cold-type Diarrhea
Dose:
2–3 grams with hot water
Cautions:
1. Not suitable for cases with Heat or Stomach Yin deficiency
