50 grams ea.

Jundbedastar (Castoreum)

Castoreum

25 grams

Preparation:

Powder, add water and form pills of size 3.

Function:

Purges excess, settles Wind, moves Blood and Qi

Use:

1. Convulsions
2. Epilepsy
3. Apoplexy
4. Regarded as strengthening the Brain

Dose:

3 pills with water for an adult;
1 pill with milk for a child

Cautions:

Avoid Sour, astringent, and fatty foods, and beef

Modifications:

Valerian, Asafetida or Storax can replace Castoreum.
