20 grams ea.

Sfatika Bhasma (Alum Bhasma

Potash Alum usta

Shankha Bhasma (Conch Shell Bhasma)

Concha usta

Karpoora (Camphor)

Cinnamomum camphora

Maricha (Black Pepper)

Piper nigrum

Saindhava Lavana (Rock Salt)

Sodium chloride

Madhu (Purified Honey)

Mel purificans

10 grams ea.

Preparation:

Combine all together to make a collyrium

Function:

Clears Heat, Benefits the Eyes

Use:

1. Red, sore Eyes
2. burning sensations in the Eyes
3. chronic Conjunctivitis
4. Cataracts (early stages)
5. Pterygium

Dose:

Only used externally. Applied directly to the conjunctival sac, once daily (usually at night)

Cautions:

1. Ensure the preparation is sterile.
2. Discontinue if there is irritation after its use.
