BARK:
1. Clears Wind-Heat:
-Fever (bark decoction)
2. Promotes Menstruation:
-Amenorrhea, Dysmenorrhea
-contraceptive (stem bark powder taken orally for 7 days)
3. Externally:
-swollen, inflamed gums, gingivitis (bark paste applied)
FLOWER:
1. Clears Wind-Heat, Resists Poison:
-obstinate skin diseases including Leprosy
-Pruritus, Itchiness
-Ulcers
2. Clears Damp, Promotes Urine:
-Dysuria, urgent or frequent urination

Dose:
Powder of the Flower or Bark: 1–3 grams
